Join us in closing the gender gap on Wikipedia.

Welcome to the Zamboangueñas Women's Month Wikipedia Edit-a-thon 2026, proudly hosted by WikiClub Zamboanga.

In observance of National Women's Month, this campaign aims to improve, create, and expand Wikipedia articles related to notable women, women's rights, and women-focused history. This year, we are placing a special emphasis on documenting the achievements and contributions of the women of Zamboanga City and the greater Zamboanga Peninsula.

Currently, less than 20% of biographical articles on English Wikipedia are about women. Through localized, collaborative editing, we intend to bridge this digital gender gap and ensure that Zamboangueña history is accurately represented on the world's largest free encyclopedia.
