Tacloban es un primera clase de ciudad na provincia de Visayas Oriental, [[Filipinas]]. Tiene este zona de 201.72 kilómetro cuadrado kilometro cuadrado. Comporme del 1 Mayo 2020 censo este tiene papulidad de 251,881 personas y 57,251 hogares. El designada codigo postal 6500 y PSGC 083747000.

Tambien es la capital de la provincia de Leyte. Es el centro comercial, cultural, turístico, educativo y gubernamental de la region. Se encuentra situada en la Bahia Cancabato, en el canal de San Juanico, que separa las maga islas de Leyte y Samar.

Anque el Waray es el mas frecuente, en los maga grandes establecimientos comerciales y hospitales se usa el filipino. En Ingles se usa en las oficinas gubernamentales. En mercados y supermercados se puede escuchar a veces cebuano.
