I will promote the site (and ask help from) to some prominent Zamboangeños in the government, academia, and media. But I will do it a litle bit later. There is so much to be done especially on the translation of the interface (PHP) of which I am currently working on. I've seen an unregistered user (correctly) edit some of the articles, and I think that there could be more Chavacano wikipedians out there. In the meantime, follow up with your sysop application. I would definitely need your help

on templates, categories, special pages and wikipedia projects. Right now, I have simplified most of the links on the front page. Example: wikipedia:help is just a plain help link or portal:categories is just a plain link to the category page. Keep adding your translation requests and initializing articles. To try is "probar" (infinitive). The verb is proba. Always remember, to translate is not to translate word for word but thought for thought. Thus, I am always trying to learn Chabacano would be: Yo firmi ta precura aprende Chabacano (active voice) or Ta precura yo firmi aprende Chabacano (passive voice). Firmi is from Spanish "firme" (firm) although "always" should be Spanish "siempre"; firmi could have come from archaic Spanish. Maga is pronounced with a hard 'g' as in 'magalit'. Old generation Zamboangueños also say 'mana' just like the tendency of maga Caviteño. New generation Zamboangueños nowadays say the tagalog 'mga' but the proper way is to say is maga or mana. Also when maga or mana precedes a noun, the noun becomes plural. So, el gato - maga gato, el perro - mana perro. Would you please set up a special place in ur user page in this wikipedia where I can teach you Chavacano grammar? Ya tiene un poco problema na betawiki, el quien ta ayuda traduci maga wikipedia na otro lenguaje. Poreso, accidente ya mezla Tagalog na de aton wikipedia. Ya corecta ya el betawiki con este problema y ta espera ya lang que hay man "update" el wikimedia y despues hay bora ya este maga palabra de Tagalog aqui. Un poco de pasencia lang. I have placed some articles in the Categoría:Maga Pagina Nominado Para Bora, but I'm not sure if it is the correct category for speedy deletion. As far as I know are a lot of those articles nosense. That are the short ones. There are a few long articles that needs some discussion before removing them. In the dutch wikipedia there is a two week period for it before it is deleted. I know it is a lot of work so if needed you can move the work to some other admin with knowledge of this language. BTW what is correct translation of Bora and the name of that category?? The Silesian language (Silesian: ślůnsko godka, ślůnski, sometimes also pů našymu) is a language spoken by people in the Upper Silesia region in Poland, but also in Czech Republic and Germany. In 2002 about 56 000 declared Silesian as their native language, but the number of speakers is estimated on 1 250 000.

Silesian is closely related to Polish language, that’s why it is considered as a dialect of Polish by some linguistics.

Alphabet

There’s not one Silesian alphabet. The Silesian speakers are used to write their language with the Polish characters. In 2006 was invented the new Silesian alphabet, based on all of the Silesian scripts (there’s 10 of them). It is widely used on the Internet, as well as in the Silesian Wikipedia.

yeah will delete those pages. in chavacano, we say "ta manda yo contigo acorda que mucho maga pagina necesita bora." c and z are pronounced in varied ways like Spanish. Hola. Soy un steward. Una nueva política relacionada a la remoción de permisos avanzados (administrador, burócrata, etc.) fue adoptada por consenso comunitario recientemente. De acuerdo a esta política, los stewards están revisando la actividad de los administradores en wikis sin política de inactividad.

Reúnes los criterios de inactividad (ninguna edición y ninguna acción administrativa en dos años) en cbk-zamwiki, donde eres administrador. Como cbk-zamwiki no tiene un proceso propio de revisión de la actividad de administradores, aplica el procedimiento global.

Si deseas retener tus permisos, debes notificar a tu comunidad que los stewards te enviaron información acerca de tu inactividad para discutir el tema. Tras la decisión de la comunidad, si esta desea que mantengas tus derechos, por favor contacta a los stewards en m:Stewards' noticeboard y enlaza la discusión local, donde se exprese el deseo de que conserves los permisos y se demuestre una necesidad de mantenerlos.

Los stewards evaluaremos las respuestas. Si no hay respuesta alguna después de un mes aproximadamente, procederemos a remover tus permisos administrativos. En caso de duda, evaluaremos las respuestas y dejaremos la decisión a la comunidad local para su comentario y revisión. Si tienes alguna pregunta, contáctanos en m:Stewards' noticeboard.
