Betawiki: better support for your language in MediaWiki

Dear community. I am writing to you to promote a special wiki called Betawiki. This wiki facilitates the localisation (l10n) of the MediaWiki interface. You may have changed many messages here on this wiki to use your language, but if you would log in to for example the English language Wiktionary, you would not be able to use the interface as well translated as here. Infact, of the 1793 messages in the core of MediaWiki, 0 messages have been translated. Betawiki also supports the translation of messages of almost 80 extensions, with 984 messages.

If you wish to contribute to better support of your language in MediaWiki, as well as for many MediaWiki extensions, please visit Betawiki, create an account and request translator priviledges. You can see the current status of localisation of your language on meta and do not forget to get in touch with others that may already be working on your language on Betawiki.

un saludo, me agrada que hables el idioma español el cual te permitira comunicarte con más personas, difundelo en tu region y trata de corregirles para que adquieren tu gente un español estandar. L o importante de nuestro idioma es que es fonetico es facil de aprender no como el inglés que te habras dado cuenta que no sigue una regla en si sino que escriben como les da la gana y es la lengua fraca aparentemente ni los propios nativos saben como escribir. saludos.

El version de Jondel y de mi yo igual y pareho justo y completo frase. El mi version tiene es minor correccion. No puede habla na Chavacano el frase "Almazán' es un municipio" y tambien "el Almazan" sino "el municipio de Almazan". Mas comon na Chavacano el "del" contra "de la". Jondel, do you know who's translating some of the interface to Tagalog? I was just about to start translating the interface at betawiki becoz I used to do the old-fashioned way of translating the interface using special:allmessages but I was told at meta to do the new way using betawiki, but am quite suprised why some of the mediawiki spaces have been translated to Tagalog? Would you please let tambayan know kung pwede lang wag nilang pakikialaman ang Chavacano wikipedia kung wala naman silang maitutulong. What happened only jeopardized our work. Just an update. Nobody was tinkering with the Chavacano Wikipedia. Betawiki used Tagalog as the fallback language of this wikipedia and it has been corrected. Right now the fallback language of cbk-zam is Spanish, so as you will see some of the interface are in Spanish, not until every interface is translated to Chavacano. I am doing the translations right now, slowly as I have been sorta busy. But at least the fallback language of Chavacano Wikipedia is now Spanish rather than English or Tagalog. Senior el estremenu. Gracias por su vendido aqui. Mira , parece que yo sea el unico escribidor aqui aun que hay 200 miles de hablantes de Chabacano. Entonces es de mala calidad. Tambien advierte que no es Castellano sino que es un Creolo. Los otros palabras no son de Tagalog , lingua oficial, sino de rehiyon Zamboanga que yo mismo no puedo entender bien(Nacido yo en Capiz, lugar donde se habla illongo , otro dialecto ). Hello. A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, interface administrator, etc.) was adopted by community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no logged actions for 2 years) on this wiki. Since this wiki, to the best of our knowledge, does not have its own rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your advanced permissions, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. A community notice about this process has been also posted on the local Village Pump of this wiki. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at the m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights.
